# Read Current Actor

`GET /api/v1/me`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.brumby.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.brumby.com/api/v1/me`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- StaffIdentityResponse: `GET /api/v1/me` — who the API decided the caller is. The desktop app asks this once after sign-in to prove the round trip: the token it just obtained is one this deployment accepts, and the email the audit log will carry is the one shown in the title bar. `auth` names the credential that was accepted, so a session that silently fell back to a dev bearer is visible rather than indistinguishable from a real sign-in.
  - `actor_id` string, required
  - `actor_type` string, required
  - `auth` 'jwt' | 'internal' | 'dev', required
  - `desktop_min_version` string, nullable
