# Patch Geofence

`PATCH /api/v1/geofences/{geofence_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.brumby.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Name, activation, archival. Geometry is immutable — see the model.

- `geofence_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- GeofenceUpdate: Name, activation, and archival only. There is deliberately no geometry or ceiling here: those are what a screening vouches for.
