# Create Workspace

`POST /workspaces`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.browser-use.com/api/v4`
- URL: `https://api.browser-use.com/api/v4/workspaces`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Browser-Use-API-Key`

Mint an empty workspace. Lets callers upload input files BEFORE the
first run exists; pass the id as workspaceId on POST /runs.

  - `name` string, nullable

  - `id` string, uuid, required
  - `name` string, nullable
  - `archived` boolean, required
