# Submit an MCP server for listing

`POST /api/submit-mcp`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://brofindai.com`
- URL: `https://brofindai.com/api/submit-mcp`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Submit a new MCP server to the Bro Find AI /mcp-servers directory. Saved immediately; appears on the site at the next build. Requires authentication.

## Request body

- object
  - `idToken` string, required: Firebase ID token
  - `server` object, required
    - `name` string, required: Server name, conventionally 'owner/repo'
    - `url` string, uri, required: Repository or homepage URL
    - `description` string: What the server does
    - `category` string: MCP server category, e.g. 'Developer Tools', 'Databases'. Defaults to 'Developer Tools'.
    - `tags` string[]

## Response `200`

Server submitted successfully

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body
- `401`: Authentication required
