# Method, definitions and limits

`GET /method`

## Request

- Auth: none required

The method version, every definition, the five engines, the proof rules and what the numbers do not prove. No key needed.

## Other responses

- `304`: Not modified. The If-None-Match value matched the current ETag.
- `400`: A parameter is invalid.
- `401`: The key is missing, invalid or revoked.
- `404`: Nothing with that id is available to this key.
- `429`: Rate limit reached. Retry-After says when to retry.
