# Open the card page for a location awaiting payment

`POST /v1/org-nodes/{id}/payment/checkout`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.brixsignage.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Get the link to the card page for a location that pays for its own screens and has not paid yet. Requires `billing.edit` at that location, so the location’s owner can pay without access to the rest of the account; invoices go to the caller’s email. Returns 409 `already_live` when the location is already live.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `2XX`

Success. Body is `{ data: … }` unless the endpoint serves bytes. The shape of `data` is not yet modelled for this operation.

## Other responses

- `4XX`: Client error. 404 rather than 403 for another tenant's resource, so account existence is not leaked.
- `5XX`: Server error. The body carries a `requestId` to quote to support.
