# Show where a media asset is used

`GET /v1/media/{id}/usage`

## Request

Return where a media asset is used, across playlists, creatives, and layouts, along with when it was last played.

## Response `200`

Success.

      - `id` string, required
      - `name` string, required
      - `kind` 'playlist' | 'schedule' | 'layout' | 'creative' | 'signage', required: `signage` = a signage template (board).
      - `itemCount` integer: Playlists only: total items in the playlist.
    - `screens` object[], required: Active screens showing it now, directly or through one of the containers.
      - `id` string, required
      - `name` string, required
      - `location` string, nullable, required
      - `status` string, required: `online`, `offline` or `pairing`.
    - `lastPlayedAt` string, nullable, required: ISO-8601 timestamp (UTC).

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, expired or revoked bearer token.
- `403`: The token lacks the permission this operation needs (see `x-brix-permission`).
- `404`: No such asset in this workspace.
- `5XX`: Server error. The body carries a `requestId` to quote to support.
