# Update billing group

`PATCH /v1/billing-groups/{id}`

## Request

Updates a billing group's name, finance contact, or invoice terms.

**Notes.**
- `paymentTermsDays` is range-checked here (1–365) but not on create.

  - `financeContactEmail` string, nullable
  - `paymentTermsDays` number, nullable: 1–365, or null to use the workspace default.

    - `chargebeeCustomerId` string, nullable, required: The billing customer linked by Brix; null until linked.
    - `chargebeeSubscriptionId` string, nullable, required: The subscription linked by Brix; null until linked.
    - `subscriptionStatus` string, nullable, required
    - `paymentTermsDays` integer, nullable, required: Net payment terms in days; null = the workspace default.
    - `screenCount` integer, required: Screens billed to this group.
    - `createdAt` string, required: ISO-8601 timestamp (UTC).
    - `updatedAt` string, required: ISO-8601 timestamp (UTC).

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, expired or revoked bearer token.
- `403`: You do not hold the permission for the whole workspace (a grant at one location is not enough).
- `404`: No such group.
- `422`: Empty `name`, or `paymentTermsDays` outside 1–365.
- `5XX`: Server error. The body carries a `requestId` to quote to support.
