# Switch to monthly billing

`POST /v1/account/downgrade-monthly`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.brixsignage.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Switches the workspace from annual to monthly billing at the end of the current annual term. Nothing is charged or refunded now.

## Response `200`

Success.

    - `cadence` 'annual', required: Unchanged until the annual term ends.
    - `scheduledCadence` 'monthly', required

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, expired or revoked bearer token.
- `403`: You do not hold the permission for the whole workspace (a grant at one location is not enough).
- `409`: `no_subscription`, `already_monthly`, or `under_contract`.
- `502`: The switch could not be scheduled.
- `5XX`: Server error. The body carries a `requestId` to quote to support.
