# Delete Ingest Profile

`DELETE /accounts/{{account_id}}/profiles/{profile_id}`

Delete a custom ingest profile for the account. Note that you can also do this through Video Cloud Studio

- `400`: BAD_REQUEST: Invalid JSON - message varies according to the problem
- `401`: NOT_AUTHORIZED: Credentials are required to access this resource.
- `404`: NOT_FOUND: Resource not found
- `409`: CONFLICT: Could not create profile with this name and id (profile name or id already exists)
- `422`: UNPROCESSABLE_ENTITY: required field missing - message varies according to the issue
