# Cancel a pending invitation

`DELETE /v1/team/invites/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.briefgate.dev`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Owner-only — a member gets 403. Frees the seat the invitation was reserving. Returns 400 if the invite was already accepted (cancel a live membership with DELETE /v1/team/members/{id} instead).
