# Add another person to an intake

`POST /v1/intakes/{id}/recipients`

## Request

Adds an address that receives the same invitation and the same reminders through the same portal link. No mail is sent by this call: it changes who future messages reach, so adding a colleague does not fire a second invitation at the person who already has one. Use POST /v1/intakes/{id}/send or /chase to reach them now. An intake can be addressed to at most 5 people in total.

## Other responses

- `400`: Already at the five-person limit.
- `404`: No such intake.
- `409`: That address is already on this intake.
