# Remove an additional recipient

`DELETE /v1/intakes/{id}/recipients/{email}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.briefgate.dev`
- URL: `https://api.briefgate.dev/v1/intakes/{id}/recipients/{email}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Removes one of the additional addresses. The primary client cannot be removed this way — it is the address the intake was created for and the one the portal greets; change it with PATCH /v1/intakes/{id}.

## Response `204`

Removed.

## Other responses

- `400`: That address is the primary client.
- `404`: No such intake, or no such recipient on it.
