# Remove a brief attachment

`DELETE /v1/intakes/{id}/brief/files/{fileId}`

## Request

Deletes the object and its row, and releases its bytes from the storage quota.

File deleted

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Authenticated but not allowed to perform this action
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Intake is archived (`intake_archived`)
