# Delete a folder

`DELETE /v1/folders/{id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a folder. Every intake filed in it moves to Unfiled (folder_id becomes null) — the intakes themselves, and their files, are untouched.

## Response `204`

Folder deleted

- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Authenticated but not allowed to perform this action
- `404`: Resource not found
