# Create a Developer Fee Config

`POST /fees/configurations`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bridge.xyz/v0`
- URL: `https://api.bridge.xyz/v0/fees/configurations`
- Auth: API key in header `Api-Key`

Beta: available by request only. Contact Bridge to enable this feature for your developer account.

Create a Developer Fee Config.

## Headers

- `Idempotency-Key` string, required

## Request body

- CreateDeveloperFeeConfig
  - `name` string, required: A friendly name for this fee config.
  - `schema` 'v1', required: The schema version for this fee config. Currently only `v1` is supported.
  - `default_fee_percentage` string, number, required: The default developer fee percent applied by this config. The value is a base 100 percentage, i.e. 10.2% is 10.2 in the API.
  - `source_asset_fee` DeveloperFeeConfigSourceAssetFee: Per-source-currency fee overrides applied instead of `default_fee_percentage`. Keys are `CryptoCurrency` values, values are base 100 percentages, e.g. `{"usdc": "0.05"}` charges a 0.05% fee on USDC deposits.
  - `description` string: An optional longer description of this fee config.

  - `id` string, required: A UUID that uniquely identifies a resource
  - `name` string, required: A friendly name for this fee config.
  - `schema` 'v1', required: The schema version for this fee config. Currently only `v1` is supported.
  - `default_fee_percentage` string, number, required: The default developer fee percent applied by this config. The value is a base 100 percentage, i.e. 10.2% is 10.2 in the API.
  - `source_asset_fee` DeveloperFeeConfigSourceAssetFee, required: Per-source-currency fee overrides applied instead of `default_fee_percentage`. Keys are `CryptoCurrency` values, values are base 100 percentages, e.g. `{"usdc": "0.05"}` charges a 0.05% fee on USDC deposits.

## Other responses

- `400`: Request containing missing or invalid fee config parameters.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key, or the Developer Fees beta has not been enabled for this developer account
- `500`: Unexpected error. User may try and send the request again.
