# Create a funds withdrawal request

`POST /customers/{customerID}/card_accounts/{cardAccountID}/withdrawals`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bridge.xyz/v0`
- URL: `https://api.bridge.xyz/v0/customers/{customerID}/card_accounts/{cardAccountID}/withdrawals`
- Auth: API key in header `Api-Key`

Request a funds withdrawal from the card account, applicable to top-up accounts only. For Bridge wallets, create a [transfer](/api-reference/transfers/create-a-transfer) from the Bridge wallet.

- `cardAccountID` string, required: A UUID that uniquely identifies a resource

- CardWithdrawal: A card funds withdrawal
  - `id` string, required: A UUID that uniquely identifies a resource
  - `card_account_id` string, required: A UUID that uniquely identifies a resource
  - `customer_id` string, required: A UUID that uniquely identifies a resource
  - `amount` string, required: The amount represented as a decimal string
  - `type` 'top_up_balance_withdrawal' | 'fee': The type of the withdrawal. Defaults to `top_up_balance_withdrawal`.
  - `currency` 'usdc', required
  - `destination` CardWithdrawalDestination, required
    - `chain` string, required: The chain of the wallet the withdrawn crypto funds should be transferred to
    - `address` string, required: The address of the wallet the withdrawn crypto funds should be transferred to
    - `memo` string: The memo to attach to the withdrawal transaction. Will be transmitted for blockchains that support memos only.
    - `tx_hash` string: The crypto transaction hash for the withdrawal once it's confirmed on the chain
    - `gas_fee` GasFee: The gas fee for a crypto transaction
      - `amount` string, required: The amount of the gas fee represented as a decimal string
      - `currency` string, required: The currency of the gas fee.
  - `client_note` string: An optional client-provided note for the withdrawal
  - `created_at` string, required: Timestamp when the withdrawal was created, in ISO8601 format
  - `updated_at` string, required: Timestamp when the withdrawal was last updated, in ISO8601 format

The successfully created card funds withdrawal

## Other responses

- `400`: Request containing missing or invalid parameters.
- `401`: Missing or invalid API key
- `500`: Unexpected error. User may try and send the request again.
