# Update amortization template

`PATCH /v3/accounting/integration/{integration_id}/amortization/{brex_id}`

## Request

Change a template's name or visibility. Omitted fields are left unchanged. At least one field must be supplied. This endpoint does not use an `Idempotency-Key`: sending one has no effect, and since the update sets the supplied fields to the supplied values, replaying the same request converges on the same state.

- UpdateAmortizationTemplateRequest
  - `is_disabled` boolean: Set true to hide the template from selection on new expenses, false to restore it
  - `name` string: New name for the template

## Response `200`

Amortization template updated

- AmortizationTemplate
  - `brex_id` string, required: The internal Brex ID of the amortization template
  - `is_disabled` boolean, required: Whether the template is hidden from selection on new expenses. Existing expenses keep a disabled template.
  - `name` string, required: Human-readable name of the template
  - `remote_id` string, nullable: The template's identifier in the ERP, if the ERP supplied one
  - `updated_at` string, date-time, required: The last updated timestamp of the template

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request (e.g. no fields supplied, unknown value)
- `401`: The bearer token is missing or rejected.
- `403`: The token does not have a required scope.
- `404`: Amortization template not found
