# Create a workspace

`POST /v1/workspaces`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.breakreach.com`

Creates a workspace owned by the API key's user, with the default posting schedule. A workspace per end customer keeps their accounts, posts and connect links apart. Counts toward the plan's workspace limit (100 on the Developer plan).

  - `name` string, required: Up to 80 characters
  - `timezone` string: IANA timezone used to read scheduledAt, e.g. Europe/Paris (default UTC)

    - `timezone` string, required

## Other responses

- `400`: Missing or too long name, unknown timezone
- `401`: Missing, invalid or expired API key
- `402`: Workspace limit of the plan reached
- `409`: A request with this Idempotency-Key is still running: retry after Retry-After seconds to get its response
- `422`: This Idempotency-Key was already used with a different request in the last 24 hours
