# Renew Appsumo Credits Endpoint

`POST /api/v1/subscription/cron/appsumo-credits/renew`

Refill the month's credits for every active AppSumo subscription whose month has closed.

Meant for a daily GCP Cloud Scheduler hit — it picks up whoever is due rather than firing on a
fixed day, so each user renews on the anniversary of their purchase. Running it more than once
a day is harmless: a subscription is only due while its renewal date is in the past, and
renewing pushes that a month forward.

A gap in the schedule does not compound. If the job is down for three months the user gets one
month's credits and the date moves to the next future anniversary — credits are an allowance,
not a balance that accrues.

`limit` is for a cautious first run; leave it off in the schedule. `email` plus `force` is the
repair path for one customer whose renewal was missed, and `dry_run` shows the effect first.

## Query parameters

- `limit` integer, nullable — Cap how many subscriptions this run touches
- `email` string, nullable — Renew one customer only, by activation email
- `force` boolean — Renew even if the month has not closed yet — repairs only
- `dry_run` boolean — Report what would change without writing it

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- AppSumoCreditRenewalResponseDTO — What one run of the AppSumo monthly credit renewal did. The cron only needs the counts; the two detail lists are there so a run can be read back without opening the database.
