# Update Account

`PATCH /api/v1/social/accounts/{account_id}`

Set the account's @handle by hand.

Needed because the app is not approved for TikTok's user.info.profile
scope, so OAuth never returns the handle — without it the card shows no
@handle and neither the profile nor its posts can be linked.
