# Get credits balance & rate limits

`GET /v1/account`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bounceban.com`
- URL: `https://api.bounceban.com/v1/account`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

You can use this API to get account information, including credits balance and rate limits. If you need a higher rate limit, please contact us via the online chat or email us at [dev@bounceban.com](mailto:dev@bounceban.com).

## Response `200`

Indicates the request is successful.

- object
  - `owner_email` string: The email of the account owner.
  - `available_credits` number, float: The amount of credits remaining for the account. `-1` means unlimited. Only returned for some custom plans.
  - `rate_limit` RateLimitObject[]: Rate limits for your account.
    - `api` string: API resource.
    - `limit` string: API rate limit.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authorization information is missing or invalid.
- `405`: The account is blocked.
- `429`: Rate limited.
- `500`: Unexpected error.
