# Send synthetic test event

`POST /api/v1/webhooks/{uuid}/test`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Fires a synthetic webhook.test event to the registered URL via the standard delivery worker. Useful for end-to-end testing of signature verification on the subscriber side. Returns 202 with the enqueued Oban job id.

## Path parameters

- `uuid` string, required

## Response `202`

Accepted; processing asynchronously.

## Other responses

- `401`: Missing, invalid, or revoked API key.
- `403`: Authenticated but lacks permission (e.g. botsee_disabled).
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist or is not accessible.
- `422`: Request body or parameters failed validation.
- `429`: Too many requests. Wait and retry per Retry-After header.
