# Add leads to a list

`POST /v1/lists/{id}/leads`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.botdog.co`
- URL: `https://api.botdog.co/v1/lists/{id}/leads`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key`

Add leads to a list. Batch — up to 100 at a time.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

- AddLeadsToListDto
  - `leads` ListLeadInputDto[], required: Profiles to add (maximum 100). Duplicates are skipped.
    - `linkedinUrl` string, required: LinkedIn profile URL (https:// is added automatically if missing)
    - `name` string: The name of the lead
    - `company` string: Company of the lead
    - `location` string: Location of the lead
    - `title` string: Job title of the lead

## Response `201`

- AddLeadsToListResponseDto
  - `listId` string, required: The list the leads were added to
  - `count` number, required: Number of leads created (duplicates skipped)

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized. API key is missing or invalid.
- `403`: The key owner has no seat assigned (write endpoints only), the team is on Botdog Managed and so may only read (write endpoints only), or the subscription/plan does not permit this.
- `404`: List not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after cooldown.
