# Update account limits

`PATCH /v1/accounts/{id}/limits`

## Request

Update an account's daily caps, sending days, timezone, and auto-withdraw settings. Caps are clamped to safe maximums.

  - `maxDailyInvites` number: Daily connection-invite cap
  - `maxDailyMessages` number: Daily message cap
  - `maxDailyInmails` number: Daily InMail cap
  - `maxDailyProfileVisits` number: Daily profile-visit cap
  - `maxDailyCompanyPageInvitations` number: Daily company-page-invitation cap
  - `maxDailyReactToPosts` number: Daily post-reaction cap
  - `enableAutoWithdrawal` boolean: Whether to auto-withdraw pending invites
  - `inviteWithdrawalDuration` number: Days after which a pending invite is auto-withdrawn (1-91)
  - `activeDaysOfWeek` string[]: Days of the week on which sending is active
  - `timezone` string: IANA timezone used for the daily reset and sending window

  - `activeDaysOfWeek` string[], required: Days of the week on which sending is active
  - `inMailCredit` number, required: Remaining InMail credits
  - `searchesPerDay` number, required: Daily search cap (no per-day usage counter is tracked)
  - `limits` AccountLimitsBreakdownDto, required
    - `invitations` LimitBucketDto, required
      - `limit` number, required: The configured daily cap
      - `usedToday` number, required: How many have been used so far today
      - `remaining` number, required: Remaining quota for today (never negative)

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized. API key is missing or invalid.
- `403`: The key owner has no seat assigned (write endpoints only), the team is on Botdog Managed and so may only read (write endpoints only), or the subscription/plan does not permit this.
- `404`: Account not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded. Retry after cooldown.
