# Update Thread Status

`PUT /inbox/{thread_id}/status`

## Request

Update the status of an inbox thread.

NOTE: status must be open, pending or closed. Legacy aliases are normalized. Snoozing requires the dedicated snooze endpoint and a date; snoozed is not a stored status. Invalid values return 400.
