# Delete Deal

`DELETE /deals/{deal_id}`

## Request

Delete a deal. It disappears from the pipeline and from this API, but it is hidden rather than erased, so support can still bring it back with its activity timeline intact.

NOTE: Recoverable, but there is no undo in the app or the API. Prefer deals.archive when the user just wants it off the board; use delete for records that should not exist at all. Confirm with the user either way.
