# Delete Deal Status

`DELETE /deal-statuses/{status_id}`

## Request

Delete a pipeline status. Choose another status in the same pipeline for its deals.

CRITICAL: Confirm the destination with the user. A populated status requires target_status_id.

## Request body

- object
  - `target_status_id` integer: Destination status in the same pipeline. Required when the source contains deals, including recoverable deleted deals.

## Response `204`
