# Create Contact

`POST /contacts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.boei.help/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.boei.help/api/v1/contacts`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Create a new contact. At least email or phone is required.

NOTE: Use contacts.lookup first if the person may already exist; email and phone are not unique-checked here.

## Request body

  - `email` string: Contact email (required if no phone).
  - `phone` string: Contact phone (required if no email).
  - `name` string: Contact name.
  - `company` string: Company name.
  - `notes` string: Internal notes.
  - `status` string: Contact status.
