# Mark Contact as Customer

`POST /contacts/mark-customer`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.boei.help/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.boei.help/api/v1/contacts/mark-customer`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Flip a contact to status "customer" by email, and auto-Won any open deals
linked to that contact. If the contact does not exist yet, it is created
with status "customer". Idempotent, safe to call from a webhook fired on
every payment event.

## Request body

  - `email` string, required: The customer's email address.
  - `name` string, nullable: Optional name to store when creating a new contact.
