# Request Live Chat Escalation

`POST /chatbots/{chatbot_id}/conversations/{conversation_id}/escalate`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.boei.help/api/v1`
- URL: `https://app.boei.help/api/v1/chatbots/{chatbot_id}/conversations/{conversation_id}/escalate`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Explicitly escalate a conversation to a human agent. The visitor's
subsequent messages (via POST /messages) will be delivered to the
agent instead of generating AI responses. The client should poll
GET /conversations/{id}/messages for agent replies.
