# Log a strength session

`POST /strength-sessions`

## Request body

- object
  - `performedAt` string, date-time: Defaults to now.
  - `durationS` integer
  - `sessionRpe` number
  - `notes` string
  - `activityId` string: A recorded activity from the same session, if a device was worn.
  - `routineId` string: The strength routine this session was done from (`StrengthTemplate.routine.id`), so the weekly review can count its sets against the plan. One of this athlete's routines; anything else is ROUTINE_NOT_LINKABLE.
  - `sets` object[], required
    - `exerciseId` string, required: Opaque identifier.
    - `setIndex` integer, required
    - `reps` integer, required
    - `weightKg` number, nullable: Negative is assistance, only for exercises that allow it.
    - `rir` number, nullable
    - `isWarmup` boolean

  - `id` string, required: Opaque identifier.

## Other responses

- `401`: Error: UNAUTHORIZED.
- `422`: Error: ASSISTANCE_NOT_POSSIBLE, ACTIVITY_NOT_LINKABLE, ROUTINE_NOT_LINKABLE.
