# Rename a place, or change what is there

`PATCH /equipment/places/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://bodylab.lol/api/v1`
- URL: `https://bodylab.lol/api/v1/equipment/places/{id}`

Either field, or both; omitting one leaves it alone. `items` replaces the whole set, so what is sent is what is there — an empty object is somewhere with nothing in it. The one-off in force today can have its set changed but not its name: it has none, and is identified in the list response rather than by one.
