# Mark a submission read

`PATCH /api/v1/form-submissions/{id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Flip the read flag once an external system has ingested it.

Both directions are allowed: `false` puts one back in the unread queue.

- `400`: Validation failed
- `401`: Unauthorized: missing or invalid API key

- `413`: Request body above the endpoint's size limit
