# Update a send-email/notify node's email content

`PATCH /v1/projectId/{projectId}/automations/{automationId}/email/{id}`

Merges the given fields into the existing content. Same draft/live routing as node edits - while the automation is active/paused this is staged and has no effect until POST .../merge-draft.

- `400`: Invalid request body or query - every violation found (missing/invalid/unexpected fields) is reported in one response, semicolon-separated, not just the first one hit.
