# Get Terminal ID

`POST /public/getTerminalId`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://test.tecs.at/merchantservices`
- URL: `https://test.tecs.at/merchantservices/public/getTerminalId`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic

Searches by given array of deviceSerialNumbers in 'TecsTerm' table in columns hwSerialNo or mpExpectedserialno.<br> 
If any duplicates mpExpectedserialno are found, put them the response objects to property duplicateTerminalIds.<br>

Required role for operation: SYSTEM_GET_TERMINAL_ID.<br>
Create MPauditlog record with event type : GetTerminalId (24).<br>

Supports authentication with the following types of tokens:<br>
* <b>Bearer</b> <token>, which is a Bearer token authentication. The bearer token is a cryptic string, usually generated by the server in response to a login request.  
* <b>Basic</b> &lt;credentials&gt;, where credentials is the Base64 encoding of username and password joined by a single colon :, CAS login service will be called for the given username and password for validating credentials.

## Response `200`

Successful operation

  - `terminals` TerminalInfo[]
    - `termn` string
    - `hwSerialNo` string
    - `mpExpectedSerialNo` string
  - `duplicateTerminalIds` string[]

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request. e.g, Input validation failed or there already exist a template with the same name.
- `401`: Unauthenticated - Authentication failed
- `403`: Unauthorized - Missing role SYSTEM_GET_TERMINAL_ID
- `500`: Internal server error
