# Create Product

`POST /createProduct`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://test.tecs.at/merchantservices`
- URL: `https://test.tecs.at/merchantservices/createProduct`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP basic

Create Product with given data. Insert a new record into table MPTemplates.<br>
If there is already existing record with the same name, then return error 400 Bad Request.<br>

Required role for operation: BO_MP_CREATE_NEW_PRODUCT.<br>
Create MPauditlog record with event type : CreateProduct (22).<br>

Supports authentication with the following types of tokens:<br>
- <b>Bearer</b> <token>, which is a Bearer token authentication. The bearer token is a cryptic string, usually generated by the server in response to a login request.

## Request body

- CreateProductRequest
  - `templateName` string, required
  - `templateXml` string, required
  - `templateType` string, required
  - `terminalType` string, required
  - `acquirerId` integer

## Response `200`

Successful operation

- GenericResponse
  - `responseCode` integer
  - `responseMessage` string

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request. e.g, Input validation failed or there already exist a template with the same name.
- `401`: Unauthenticated - Authentication failed
- `403`: Unauthorized - Missing role BO_MP_CREATE_NEW_PRODUCT
- `500`: Internal server error
