# Get Asset

`GET /defi/v1/rwa/getasset`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://svc.blockdaemon.com`
- URL: `https://svc.blockdaemon.com/defi/v1/rwa/getasset`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Retrieves information about a specific tokenized asset on the blockchain. It generates an XDR hash, which is processed through the Blockdaemon SDK to obtain the full asset details, including its metadata, ownership structure, and contract-level attributes.

## Query parameters

- `chainId` '1500' | '1501': The unique ID to direct queries or transactions to the correct blockchain. Find more [here](https://docs.blockdaemon.com/docs/defi-api-supported-protocols#supported-chains).
- `from` string, required: Public blockchain address of the sender initiating the transaction. Format depends on the chain (e.g., 0xABCDEF... for EVM, G... for Stellar).
- `contract` string, required: The unique identifier of the smart contract managing the asset.
- `assetCode` string, required: The unique alphanumeric code identifying the asset.
