# Get Allowance

`GET /defi/v1/liquidstaking/getallowance`

## Request

Retrieve the current token allowance that a designated spender is authorized to use on behalf of the token owner. Use this endpoint to verify approved limits before executing any subsequent spending or transfer operations.

## Query parameters

- `liquidStakingId` '1' | '11155111' | '2' | '56' | '97' | '137' | '43114': The unique ID to specify the liquid staking protocol for routing staking-related queries or transactions.
- `owner` string, required: Public address of the owner of the token.
- `tokenAddress` string, required: Contract address of the token.
- `spender` string, required: Public address of the spender of the token.
- `vsCurrencies` string: A comma-separated list of currency symbols to convert the amount into, such as 'USD,EUR'. This parameter is optional and allows retrieving values in multiple fiat currencies.
