# Get Token Details

`GET /defi/v1/fungibletoken/gettokendetails`

## Request

Retrieves fundamental metadata about a specified ERC-20 token. It provides essential token details such as the token’s name, symbol, and decimal precision, which are critical for accurately displaying token information and performing token arithmetic in decentralized applications.

## Query parameters

- `tokenAddress` string, required: Comma separated address of token. Maximum 10 tokens allowed.
- `chainId` '1' | '56' | '43114' | '137' | '250' | '10' | '42161' | '25' | '8453': The unique ID to direct queries or transactions to the correct blockchain. Find more [here](https://docs.blockdaemon.com/docs/defi-api-supported-protocols#supported-chains).
- `chainSymbol` string: The abbreviated chain name for queries or transactions.
- `vsCurrencies` string: A comma-separated list of currency symbols to convert the amount into, such as 'USD,EUR'. This parameter is optional and allows retrieving values in multiple fiat currencies.
