# Send Transaction

`POST /defi/v1/chain/sendtransaction`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://svc.blockdaemon.com`
- URL: `https://svc.blockdaemon.com/defi/v1/chain/sendtransaction`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Submits a signed transaction to the blockchain for processing. This endpoint broadcasts the transaction data to the network and returns a unique transaction hash that can be used to track its confirmation status.

  - `chainSymbol` string: The abbreviated chain name for queries or transactions.
  - `rawTransaction` string, required: The encoded transaction, obtained from the signed transaction.
  - `bdnTransaction` boolean: If true, then the transaction goes through the BDN route, which speeds up the transaction process. By default, false.
  - `mevProtection` boolean: If true, the transaction is routed through Flashbots for MEV protection.
