# Get Latest Ledger

`GET /defi/v1/chain/getlatestledger`

## Request

Fetches the most recent finalized block from the blockchain and returns comprehensive real-time information about its state. The endpoint provides key block metadata—including the block number, hash, parent hash, timestamp, and transaction details—allowing users and developers to monitor current network activity and verify the latest ledger status.
