# Get Route

`GET /defi/v1/bridge/getroute`

## Request

Retrieves an optimal bridging path between two blockchain networks, detailing the sequence of operations, tokens, intermediary addresses, swap paths, fees, gas estimates, and minimum tokens received. Also includes route duration and express processing options, allowing users to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and speed of cross-chain token transfers.

- `bridgeId` '600': The unique ID to specify the bridge protocol for routing cross-chain queries or transactions. Find more [here](https://docs.blockdaemon.com/docs/defi-api-supported-protocols#supported-bridges-protocols).
- `dstChainId` string, required: The unique chain ID to specify the destination chain. Find more [here](https://docs.blockdaemon.com/docs/defi-api-supported-protocols#supported-chains).
- `srcTokenSymbol` string: Symbol of the source token.
- `dstTokenSymbol` string: Symbol of the destination token.
- `srcTokenAddress` string: Address of the source token.
- `dstTokenAddress` string: Address of the destination token.
- `amountIn` string, required: Amount of the input token to provide, specified in the token's smallest denomination (base units). Do not send human-readable decimal values. Examples: to swap 1 WETH (18 decimals), use "1000000000000000000"; to swap 1 USDC (6 decimals), use "1000000".
- `vsCurrencies` string: A comma-separated list of currency symbols to convert the amount into, such as 'USD,EUR'. This parameter is optional and allows retrieving values in multiple fiat currencies.
