# Get card

`GET /v1/workspaces/{workspace_id}/cards/{card_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.blinq.me`
- URL: `https://api.blinq.me/v1/workspaces/{workspace_id}/cards/{card_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Gets a lightweight card summary from the specified workspace, including the public sharing URL for the card and a QR code image that encodes it. The workspace must be your personal workspace or a business workspace you own or administer.

Missing cards, cards belonging to a different workspace, and inaccessible workspaces return `404`.

Requires the `blinq:cards:read` scope.

## Path parameters

## Response `200`

The requested card summary.

- object: The requested card summary.
  - `id` string, required: The card ID.
  - `workspace_id` string, required: The ID of the workspace containing the card.
  - `url` string, required: The public sharing URL for the card. Anyone with the link can view the card.
  - `card_title` string, nullable, required: The user's title for the card, such as `Work` or `Personal`, or `null` when none is saved. Not the job title.
  - `first_name` string, nullable, required: The first name saved on the card, or `null` when none is saved.
  - `last_name` string, nullable, required: The last name saved on the card, or `null` when none is saved.
  - `job_title` string, nullable, required: The job title saved on the card.
  - `company_name` string, nullable, required: The company name saved on the card.
  - `department` string, nullable, required: The department saved on the card.
  - `qr_code` string, nullable, required: A PNG data URI QR code encoding the card's public sharing URL. Populated by get card; null in lists.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request - Invalid query parameters or body. See `details` for each failing field
- `401`: Unauthorized - Missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Forbidden - Missing scope, insufficient permission, or the plan does not include this operation
- `404`: Not found - The card was not found or access was denied
