# Download an attachment

`GET /inboxes/{inbox}/messages/{id}/attachments/{attachmentId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.blinkinbox.club/api/v1`
- URL: `https://api.blinkinbox.club/api/v1/inboxes/{inbox}/messages/{id}/attachments/{attachmentId}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Always served as application/octet-stream with Content-Disposition: attachment. Files that were not stored cannot be downloaded.

- `403`: attachment_blocked: the file type is blocked for safety
- `404`: Not found
- `413`: attachment_too_large: the file exceeded the size limit and was not stored
- `429`: Rate limit or quota exceeded
