# Create a project database

`POST /api/db/create`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://core.blink.new`
- URL: `https://core.blink.new/api/db/create`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Deprecated — returns `501 Not Implemented`. Database provisioning is now automatic.

## Request body

- CreateDatabaseRequest
  - `project_id` string, required: Unique identifier for the project

## Response `200`

Database created successfully (no longer reachable — see 501)

- CreateDatabaseResponse
  - `success` boolean
  - `database` object
    - `name` string: Database name
    - `url` string: Database connection URL
    - `project_id` string: Project identifier
  - `message` string

## Other responses

- `201`: Database created successfully
- `400`: Invalid or missing project_id
- `401`: Authentication required or invalid API key
- `409`: A database already exists for this project
- `500`: Internal server error
- `501`: Deprecated — database creation is now handled automatically
