# Scrape website content

`POST /api/data/{project_id}/scrape`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://core.blink.new`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Scrape a URL using a headless browser and return content in one or more formats. Defaults to `["markdown", "metadata"]`. Multiple formats can be requested in a single call.

## Path parameters

- `project_id` string, required

## Request body

- ScrapeRequest
  - `url` string, uri, required: URL of the website to scrape
  - `formats` string[]: Output formats to return. Available formats: markdown (clean text), html (cleaned HTML), rawHtml (raw HTML), links (extracted links), extract (structured content), metadata (page metadata)

Website content scraped successfully

  - `markdown` string: Clean markdown representation of the page content
  - `html` string: Cleaned HTML content (scripts and styles removed)
  - `rawHtml` string: Raw HTML content as received from the server
  - `links` object[]: Extracted links from the page
    - `text` string: Link text

    - `type` string: Link type (internal, external, etc.)
  - `extract` object: Structured content extraction
    - `title` string: Page title

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation error
- `401`: Authentication required or invalid API key
- `405`: Method not allowed — only POST is supported
