# Record where the customer heard about BlackForge

`PATCH /api/me/referral`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.blackforge.so` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.blackforge.so/api/me/referral`
- Auth: none declared

Idempotent: a second call overwrites the previous answer and re-stamps `referralAnsweredAt`. `GET /me` exposes only that timestamp, which is what the dashboard gates its modal on.

## Request body

- UpdateReferralDto
  - `sources` string[], required: Where the customer heard about BlackForge. Non-empty, no duplicates, at most 11 entries (i.e. every option once).
  - `other` string: Free text, meaningful only when `sources` includes 'other'. Stored verbatim and shown only in the admin panel.

## Response `200`
