# Token Honeypot

`GET /v1/tokens/{address}/honeypot`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bitpoort.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.bitpoort.com/v1/tokens/{address}/honeypot`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Live honeypot / rug check for an ERC-20 token.

Runs a buy→sell simulation against the archive node (state-override
``eth_call``) to measure the real buy/sell tax and whether you can actually
sell, then layers static source analysis (OpenZeppelin-deviation red flags),
control surface (owner / proxy / mint / pause), market reality (have
independent wallets actually sold), and deployer reputation. Returns a
0-100 honeypot score + verdict band with explicit reasons.

ETH-only in v1. Read-only — no transaction is ever broadcast.
