# Call Tool

`POST /mcp/call`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.bitpoort.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`
  - HTTP bearer

Invoke a tool by name and return its result.

Runs the SAME pre-dispatch authorization as the streamable/SSE
transports first, so this legacy path cannot bypass the compliance-report
paywall or the landing/product write-blocks.

## Request body

- ToolCallRequest
  - `name` string, required: Name of the tool to invoke
  - `arguments` object: Tool arguments
